Development Status And Future Trend Analysis Of Non-Woven Fabric Manufacturing Industry

Non-woven fabric production technology is different from traditional textile technology, in the textile process does not need to spin the process, its textile technology is similar to paper technology, also known as nonwoven fabric. Its raw material mainly comes from the by-product produced when refining petroleum - polyethylene and polypropylene plastic particles, after high temperature melting, spinning-short fiber or filament, by directional or random arrangement, bonding made of flake, fiber net or floc mat, because does not need to textile but has the appearance of cloth and some properties and called non-woven fabric.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the total industrial output value of China's non-woven fabric industry showed a continuous growth trend from 2010 to 2016, but the growth rate slowed down in the past two years. In 2016, the total industrial output value of non-woven fabric industry reached 146.365 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 0.41%.

In terms of output, from 2010 to 2016, the output of non-woven fabrics in China also maintained a rising trend. China's output of non-woven fabrics was about 4.11 million tons in 2016.

Future trend of non-woven fabric manufacturing industry

Qianzhan Industry Research Institute is expected that in the next five years, the annual output of non-woven fabric will still maintain a growth rate of 6%-10%, and the annual output of non-woven fabric will exceed 6.8 million tons by 2023.
